Hi fellow spudsters. I am Allen and I live in the mountains of North Georgia I have been comming to this site for a long time but never registered till tonight. I love the big guns. My gun is 120 Inches with a 2 inch barrel and a 4 inch air chamber. I have a 2-1 ratio. My gun is the style where the barrel goes thru the air chamber I have two 1 inch modified sprinkler valves. Really wanted to make it with 2 inch valves. I know what I am going to say will probably be over kill but trying to get more pressure at once. What i want to do is I want to do triple 1 inch sprinkler valves. I think that doing this will increase the amount of instant pressure giving a longer range and more barrel velocity. I generally shoot 90 to a 100 psi. I have a big 40 gallon air compresser so able to load instantly. I also renforced my air chamber so I dont have to worry about shrapnel. When putting gun together I took 4 inch couplings removed the ridge stop inside of them with dremel tool and then sand them inside. Then I run one side thru my table saw splitting it. Then i slid it on the air chamber. I would put pvc on at the bottom of the air chamber then slide the coupling down on it and had a 6 inch hose clamp ready and slide it over the coupling and clamp down as much as i could. I did this all the way up the air chamber gluing also where 1 coupling would butt up against another coupling. So now I want to try triple valves and wanted to ask you guys if that would increase the pressure behind the projectile out of the barrel and farther range or more damage to the plywood or junk car whatever im shoting at. What do you think???

I think there's potential. Do you have any pictures to better explain this?

Get rid of the sprinkler valves and build a piston valve... Or get yourself a q e v to put in place of the sprinkler valves and or a dust collector/pulse valve. With a dust collector valve, a 4 foot long 2 inch chamber and a 5 foot golf ball barrel I put a golf ball over 600 yards and fire at speeds of close to 700 feet per second.... :D :D :D :D :D
