This 4th I want to do something different and make a potato gun that shoots Tennis balls?
Any suggestions on how to get this done, I've never done this before. I want to get the furthest range possible so I figure tubing size would matter n' I'd be willing to buy from this site if you guys hooked me up with a easy setup thanks.

Very easy to do, I have a example on my youtube page about my cannon, you can go there and watch the vids. It originally only had a 2" shc 40 barrel, In order to fit tennis balls you need a 2.5" sch 40 to fit the tennis ball, if you go schedule 80 the ball will not fit into the barrel, We just put up an episode shooting tennis balls at tennis rackets. check it out and see what the results are. http://www.youtube.com/user/RDFStudios I will tell you at 150 psi we shoot potatoes at speeds of close to 400mph, with a tennis ball it was half that speed at the same psi, almost 200mph, I'm thinking because of the new ball haveing a nice fuzzy finish to it actually slowed the ball down. Hope this information helps you out.. have fun building safely.

If you cover the tennis balls in tape it might go faster.
