Ok, I just finished my cannon (two tanks, about 600 cu in total....6' barrel @ 1.5") and it uses a 1" sprinkler valve. Our first launch was at 20 PSI and went 150 yards...so, we moved on up (incrimentally) to 50 PSI, but we only yeilded 150-60 yards. The only problem I experienced was the sprinkler valve-there was a leak. It was the solenoid, so, I covered up the hole with a wadding of tape, shoved the soleniod back in, and it worked better; no leaks. I pretty sure there arn't any more leaks in the gun.

BTW, we mainly used only one tank. But what are better ways to seal up the sprinkler valve? Apoxy? Cause I think that's my only real problem (despide this cannon isn't mega effieciant).

How are you actuating it? With the solenoid, or pneumatically?

If you are using the solenoid, stop! Just pull that mother out, and JB Weld the crap out of that hole, and pop a blowgun in the top of the cover.

If you are already using a blowgun assembly, yank the solenoid out and JB Weld.
