Originaly posted by mta,The first and most important thing you will need is a regulator. After that it's just hose and fittings to match your gun. Hardware stores will have everything but the regulator and tank.
Here's a photo of the fittings I use:

Originaly posted by mta,I use a ten pound bulk tank that I got from a welding supply store. The bulk tanks come in sizes of 5 lb. 10 lb. 20 lb. 50 lb. and larger. I would guess that restaurants and bars use 20 - 50 lb. tanks or larger.
Paintball tanks are much smaller and have different fittings. The largest paintball tank (someone please correct me if I'm wrong) is 20 oz.

Originaly posted by OJHSPyro89,if its a paintball tank the best way would probably get a remote kit (coiled remote) with a manual on/off valve and take the end of the remote with the male fitings and take the bigger fitting with the threads that go in the back of the gun and take it off so you have the 1/8 in threads on it and thread it into your chamber. ALSO YOU MUST INSTALL A POP VALVE AND A GAUGE. This might not be so safe but if your really on a budget itll work. I got this from http://www.armoredfistpaintball.com/bergles_cannon.htm If your a paintballer which i am good luck OJHSPyro89
