Anyway, if I was Spudengineer I would rebuild it out of lighter stuff. From the looks of it, it is way too heavy and probably not quieten as much as it could if it were a few inches longer. If that is a 1" barrel, I'd use thinwall 2" or 1.5 if couldn't find 2" in thinwall. As far as connecting it to the gun, I wouldn't use those huge couplers unless there was no other choice and if I did I would cut them very short.
Bottom line, the lighter it is on a thin handheld barrel, the better your accuracy.
