Originaly posted by corncob909,what is the cv, dwell time, and open close time of a 1.25" porting supah valve controled by a 1 inch pneumatic sprinkeler valve?

Originaly posted by Namor,using a supah valve with only 1.25" porting? you would have better results with just 2 sprinklers set up side by side and linked with the blowgun...

Originaly posted by mta,I assume that by a 1.25" Supah, you refer to a good piston valve with 1 1/4" porting. The actual Supah, I believe, only comes with 2" porting. Based on the results I have goten with my diaphragm valves of various sizes, and assuming the piston valves do a little better Cv-wise, I'd guess:
Cv = 16, open/close time = 15 ms dwell time = 1000 ms

Originaly posted by someguynamedchris,I had the idea for a 1" porting micro supah for useing in law rockets for paint ball. Some times sprinkler valves are just too bulky and you nead some thing smaller and at a 90 degree bend. Wich they do not make a sprinkler valve like that.

Originaly posted by Namor,reducing a little bulk and getting a 90 degree bend? when you could just add a few PVC pieces to get a 90 degree bend

Originaly posted by someguynamedchris,we do not know how mutch it is to make a micro supah or if its even more powerfull than a normal sprinkler valve. and you are forgeting the cool factor wouldn't it just be cool to have one?

Originaly posted by corncob909,im just experimenting on paper, first of all, i wanted to build this just as a cheaper (smaller) version of the one i am going to build with 3 inch porting so i can work out the problems and test if my ideas would really work before i went out and bought all those big expensive parts (my plans are similar to the supah i think, i just used that name so you would have some idea of what im talking about, and BTW my design isn't that expensive) Anyway..., and as i was thinking of doing this i also thought about creating a mini-supah snipa rifle with the Supah piston valve turned backwards with the exhaust valve below the barrel rather than the chamber and have a stock which was the resevoiur (or just a normal pneumatic sniper rifle configuration), but anyway i was curious of the info about this valve so i could even see if that would be worth it, but i guess not, BUT JUST CURIOUS and thanks for the input. :-) just thought it would be kinda cool
