My potato gun has still been alive and well, although one of my friends broke the ignitor, so I (meaning he) will have to replace it. The only problem we've had is getting the more unyielding potatos down the barrel. To this end, I cut a section of pipe from the same stock as the barrel, and dremel'ed one end to make it sharp. Putting this onto the ground, and potato on the sharp end, and hammering it in with the rubber mallet works very nicely. And we're taking a knife along just in case.

My parents are cool with the gun now, and my dad had a nice chat with the county attorney... not only are they completely legal here in McCook, NE, the attorney would like to come out and fire it with me sometime! lol
