Spray a VERY small amount when using aerosols like starting fluid or right guard. Otherwise it will not ignite because the fuel mix (with the air inside the sealed chamber) is too rich. A good place to start is 1/4 second or less spray and go up from there to find the upper combustible limit. Also, SHAKE THE CAN first then clear the nozzle with a test spray to produce a fine mist. Then spray short burst into center of chamber so the mist mixes with the air.

Starting fluid works great and doesn't seem to harm PVC. You shouldn't "blow up" as long as you use pressure rated PVC and do a quality PVC PRIMER and cement job on the joints. BTW, use PVC primer. Oh, and...use PVC primer. Primer is usually purple but available in clear also. Use primer. : )

I use a quick squirt of Johnsens premium starting fluid. It contains ether, heptane, butane, and propane. It really works great!!!!!!!
