Originaly posted by SwampFox,I'm going to build a proprane gun similar to the "Blue Bomber" on this website, but I want to make it breach loadable, so I have a few questions...
First, this is my first spudgun using propane, so this propane metering device (as seen here http://www.spudtech.com/detail.asp?id=14), is it all one unit or do I have to buy the pieces seperately? Plus, how does it work (I'm not 100% sure) and does it just plug via a thread piece into the chamber?
And second, I want to make it an over-under design, BUT instead of a 90 degree piece at the end of the barrel, I'll put a tee, which connects to the chamber. To load it, I just take off the lid to the tee and put the potato in thru that enterance (the barrel extends into the tee and is sharpened, but will it be safe to just glue it and slide it thru the adapter as I say?).
Thanks

Originaly posted by SwampFox,how should I go about building it (the one seen on this website)? I have a somewhat good idea on how it is SETUP but still not shure about the parts, etc.
Thanks

Originaly posted by SwampFox,from the propane being injected into the chamber...if the chamber is under pressure, wouldn't the projectile (a potato) come out?

Originaly posted by Tyler, once you charge the chamber with the propane it wil expand and wont be as pressurized it will be like 90 psi in the metering pipe though
