CDs, CD covers: Blows up. Small pieces of plastic and glittering alu/paint everywhere.
Trees: Shoot through the crown, and twigs and leaves come falling down. Shoot the trunk, and you'll peel the bark, the more power the larger the hole. It's best to not do this with trees you'd want to keep.
Large spuds: Shoot the biggest spud you can find. They explode! Great fun. Keep in mind that shreds will fly in all directions, including yours.
Plywood: A nice hole. Place several pieces in a row to test ammo/fuels for penetration power.
Wood: Splinters.
Electronics: Fun with pesky computer parts. Breaks, bends, looses components. Fill that ol' floppy-eating floppy drive with mashed potatoes. Great satisfaction!
Junk: Fill a bag or cardboard box with junk, then shoot it. Look at the destruction inside after a few shots.
Water: is fun.
Concrete walls: Nice splats. Colored ammo works nice.
Shopping carts: Great for turning a spud into shreds without damaging the target too much.
Birds, animals, beehives, people, other people's stuff: Don't.
Well, maybe you can use a spudgun to blow away those ugly anthills on your lovely lawn, or that wasp's nest in your garage, whose inhabitants have attacked you twice, instead of pouring gasoline or acid or some other nasty stuff on them. But don't shoot living things just for fun.
Even if they're just insects.
