They're great for low pressures(on my new rifle I estimate 100 feet high at 10 PSI...), and punch through cardboard at 20 PSI. I'm going to do more testings with them when I get a bigger bag. As far as I can tell, they can't punch through plywood, as they vaporize when they hit. Great for low pressure distances though.. like I said, when I get a bag or something of them(I'm working with 1" ones btw), I'll test them at higher pressures. The highest I went to was 40 PSI, which produced a very nice bang when it vaporized on the plywood after leaving a perfect 1" round hole in the cardboard! I love my new rifle.. near instant pressurization! Its great! heh. I'm going to try distance firing them this weekend, I'll post something somewhere with the results... assuming wind doesn't stop me!

first of all, that would be cool if they could make it through plywood. BUT, if they did, they wouldn't be very bouncy. i didn't expect for them to "vaporize" (I'm assuming you mean that they blast apart into tiny pieces that can no longer be found) on contact with plywood at 40psi.

Secondly, if you do shoot in the wind, shoot downwind. then you can say your cannon shoots farther than it does, truithfully. BTW, i think when i did some lame ass expiriment in 9th grade science so long ago, about 30o to 35o was the best angle for distance.

at plywood w/ 100 PSI today. There's just one small chunk out of it, should still work... I'm going to go to a couple stores and see how much their balls are today, or if they have em..

At 100 PSI, the ones I have still hold together. They do punch through plywood at 70 PSI or so, and make a VERY large bang... about 5 of those and some guy that sounded really drunk yelled "little bastards!!", and we were probably quite a ways away from him.
